It’s December and 2010 is almost over. I’m still having withdrawals from my Police Academy classes. It was such fun and I met a really great group of people. If you ever have a chance to take a similar class, go for it!
I’ve been hard at work writing all year. Yes, I know some people laugh and say writing is not work. You lounge around in your teddy bear pajamas all day and eat chocolate. Not so. While it may be fun to some degree, it’s still work. You still have to glue your tushy into the chair and write, every day, whether you feel like it or not. Just like most people do with regular jobs. They get up every day and go to work whether they feel like it or not. My work consists of creating plots, characters, etc. Some days getting everything to work out right is easy and other days it’s down right difficult.
I have been working on three different projects this year and I hope some editor will take them on in 2011. I’m thinking positive thoughts for the upcoming year and you can think positive thoughts with me. The more positive thoughts I have coming my way just may make a difference. It doesn’t hurt to try!
So, as 2010 comes to a close, I’m hoping the best for all of us. May the holidays bring you the best life has to offer. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
