Police Academy was a blast Tuesday evening! The evening’s instruction was on “Verbal Judo” and “Defense Tactics”. Great classes.
In “Verbal Judo” we were given the basics of how to talk anyone into doing what you wanted them to do. Now if I can just get that to work on my publisher!
“Defense Tactics” was actual hands-on training and I do mean “hands-on”. We drug out mats to cover the floor and then were taught 5 different ways to take down a suspect, hand-to-arm or back, head, wrist, etc. I loved that class. The guys in the class were very gracious and let a female practice on them. They soon found that even a female could do the moves and it downright hurt!
Did you know you could break someone’s wrist, elbow and shoulder all in one easy to use move? Snap, crackle, pop!
Look out now, Leeza “Ali” is on the loose!
